Dear Valued customer
I am writing to advise that we suffered a large fire at our premises of County Stationery (& Tiger Stationery) in Smethwick, Birmingham in the early hours of Wednesday morning last week. Most importantly I am pleased to report that no one was injured and the loss is confined to items that are generally replaceable.
The aftermath of any fire is immense and the disruption it has caused will affect us all. We are very fortunate that we have a great team working here at County and we are dedicated to getting us up and running right away. We are also fortunate that we had a small off site warehouse-which wasn’t affected; here we do have some stock that we will be able to despatch very soon (providing it’s the right stock for yourselves).
The good news is that we have been able to obtain temporary offices and a temporary warehouse that will enable us to get back on our feet from Monday 8th December. All phone/fax numbers will remain the same and all post should still be sent to the usual address (30 Park Rose Ind Estate).
We will endeavour to advise you of what stock we can offer straight away or when we are expecting the next stocks to arrive. We have nine containers booked in for January which should cover our main fast selling lines. So we will endeavour to have several of the main core lines up & running fairly soon.
If you have any questions at all please call us at the office on 0121 558 4555 (email: firstname.lastname@example.org), or call your usual sales contact. Please feel free to call the office with any question you may have.
We will return stronger and better for this ‘interruption’! But we would ask if you would kindly bear with us for the time being.
Many thanks for your kind understanding and continued valued support
Best wishes for Christmas
David Pearson and all the County team
